Within the main station building, we demolished the existing building and replaced with a new modular building, remodelling of station frontage to allow for DDA compliant access ramp, drop off / pick up point and formal taxi rank. Onto the station forecourt we provided a protected walking route from station building to station car park including provision to stop unauthorised parking along the access road, including the installation of vehicular impact protective barriers, as well as improved CCTV and CIS, CCTV to include road and new protected walking route to the car park.

The platform and waiting structures required DDA access to up platform (lifts), replacement of existing platform waiting shelters to match new MFAS shelter plus the provision of an additional new shelter to the London end of platform 1. Replacement of wire strand fencing to platform 1 with powder coated steel railings, provision of additional platform seating, provision of long line PA to both platforms and the installation of a Customer Help Point on each platform.
