A complete refurbishment of the ticket office with the lighting outside station being upgraded. A new modular ticket office to the Up side platform in conjunction with a ticket gate line and associated platform partitioning as well as additional cycle parking facilities , with a canopy over the new Up side ticket office and cycle park. A new ticket gate line incorporated in new platform partitioning.

The partitioning should is similar to that installed at Southend Central station. The existing Up platform waiting room as well as installing a new waiting shelter on the Up platform adjacent to the 8 car stop board we remodelled the down side ticket office building to provide ticket purchase facilities (relocated ATM) out of the down side station access corridor, while removing the ticketing facilities from the down side access corridor, and providing additional cycle parking facilities.

At the bridge we oversaw the installation of side windows to the upper walkway as well as providing partial glazing to the station footbridge, and installing 'corduroy' tactile strips at the top and bottom of all staircases,
