Works included the station car park clearing and relaying / remarking, bicycle parking replacement and decoration installing a new back of platform fence to match existing along northern edge of existing salt store. In the public toilets replacing ceilings, sanitary fittings, tiling, timber and ventilation.

In the booking hall relocation of the ticket machine and creation of a new entrance including canopy. On the platform works the replacing of seating in Platform 1 waiting shelter with new DDA bench seating.
