Construct reinforced concrete brick-faced retaining wall approximately 1. In the booking hall we remodelled and extended the ticket office facilities to produce the three ticket desks, including one DDA window, the removal of a automatic double door, and all associated electrical works.

Externally, a new retaining wall with hand railing and a temporary ticket selling facilities were installed at the front of the station building. The platform was widened with the relocation of the existing CIS in line with existing light poles, resurafced and DDA compliant bench seating afixed. A new platform canopy with glazed roof was provided with a glazed fence between the gate line and the booking office. A cover to existing platform seating was installed and the CIS display was relocated to ensure it remains visible.

The bench seat in the existing waiting shelter at Country end of platform allowed installation of side and rear glazing to existing waiting shelter at Country end of platform.
